This concept of escape was born from two passionate Belgians. Always in search of spending quality time together. During our numerous travels, we always sought out hidden treasures off the tourist paths.

Searching for the best spots to share with our loved ones. With one moment holding particular significance: the traditional sea outing that our family has never missed.
An opportunity to pause, to capture a moment, to give meaning to time.

To have the chance to spend quality time with family or friends on the water. And to exchange, to share around a table, quality products selected from local artists and artisans. La Fugue was our chance to live our dream of setting sail at almost 50 years old to discover the southernmost tip of Italy, Puglia.

La Fugue is above all about heartwarming encounters with people, a country, and a culture. That of the dolce vita, of relaxation, of family, friends, aperitifs, and the beloved cuisine of Italy. Also, a need to distance oneself from the superfluous to rediscover a moment of truth.

To open one's eyes to the beauty of landscapes, to feel the warmth of the sun, to listen to the rhythm of music, to taste regional delights while being
lulled by the gentle rhythm of the waves.
